Storytelling is an essential component in the cultural life of human beings. It serves to entertain, to educate, to record history, and to instill moral values. Over time, stories have been told using many forms and now it seems clear that we are at the beginning of a technological revolution that will bring many changes to the way we tell stories. What are some of the new storytelling forms that will arise? How might these new forms change the nature of storytelling itself?
The panel will be conducted in English.
Participants: Andri Snær Magnason (author of LoveStar and Dreamland), Ben Bohn (RVX), Reynir Harðarson (co-founder and creative director of Sólfar) and Sverrir Kristjánsson (editor). Steven Meyers, consultant for the Icelandic Film Centre, will moderate the panel
