We have opened for submission to MIDPOINT workshop!
For the second year in a row, Pavel Jech, the dean of FAMU (the Czech national film school) and the head of studies of the MIDPOINT International Script Development Program, will be conducting a script development workshop during the upcoming Stockfish Film Festival in Reykjavík, which runs from February 18 – 28, 2016. This year Pavel will be joined by an additional tutor, Jan Maxa, a producer and the director of development of programs and formats at Czech TV.
The workshop will be conducted in English and is intended for first and second features currently in development. Four projects will be selected by a committee consisting of representatives from Iceland’s professional filmmakers guilds and MIDPOINT. Each participating project should be represented by one writer (or writer/director) and one producer.
