EMPLOYEE AND PAY POLICY<\/h2>

Stockfish Film Festival’s Equal Pay and Employee Policy<\/strong><\/p>

Objective:<\/strong> The objective of the Stockfish Film Festival with this policy is to ensure equality, fairness, and respect for all staff, contractors, and volunteers of the festival, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, nationality, origin, religion, disability, economic status, or other irrelevant factors. We emphasize creating a positive and encouraging work environment where everyone has the opportunity to fully utilize their abilities and enjoy their work.<\/p>

Scope:<\/strong> This policy applies to all individuals working for the Stockfish Film Festival, whether they are paid staff (temporary or permanent), contractors, or volunteers.<\/p>

I. Equal Pay Policy<\/h3>

The Stockfish Film Festival commits to implementing an equal pay policy that ensures everyone is paid equally for work of equal value and comparable jobs. The policy is based on the provisions of the Equality Act No. 150\/2020 and the Equal Pay Standard \u00cdST 85:2012.<\/p>

Commitments:<\/strong><\/p>

  1. Equal Pay System:<\/strong>\u00a0Stockfish will maintain and document an equal pay system based on the requirements of the equal pay standard. The system ensures that all staff receive equal pay and enjoy the same terms for work of equal value and comparable jobs.<\/li>
  2. Jobs and Wages:<\/strong>\u00a0All jobs at Stockfish shall be evaluated according to objective criteria that take into account responsibility, skill requirements, workload, and working conditions. Wages and wage-related rights shall be determined on the basis of these criteria, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or other irrelevant factors.<\/li>
  3. Salary Analysis:<\/strong>\u00a0An annual salary analysis shall be conducted to ensure that the pay policy is implemented. If unexplained differences arise, appropriate measures shall be taken to correct them.<\/li>
  4. Information Dissemination:<\/strong>\u00a0Staff shall be provided access to information about the festival’s equal pay policy and the methods used for salary setting.<\/li>
  5. Compliance with Laws:<\/strong>\u00a0Compliance with applicable laws and regulations on equal status and equal pay shall always be ensured.<\/li><\/ol>

    II. Employee Policy<\/h3>

    The Employee Policy of the Stockfish Film Festival is intended to ensure that all human resources matters are handled with professionalism, respect, and fairness.<\/p>

    General Human Resources Matters:<\/strong><\/p>

    1. Equality and Diversity:<\/strong><\/p>

      • Stockfish supports and encourages diversity among staff and volunteers.<\/li>
      • No one shall be subjected to discrimination on the basis of gender, sexual orientation, age, nationality, origin, religion, disability, economic status, or other irrelevant factors in recruitment processes, career development, or other human resources matters.<\/li>

      • Recruitment and Selection:<\/strong><\/p>

        • Recruitment processes shall be transparent, objective, and based on skills, experience, and personal qualities that are important for the job.<\/li>
        • All applicants shall be given equal access to information about job vacancies and volunteer positions.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>

        • Work Environment and Well-being:<\/strong><\/p>

          • Stockfish strives to provide a safe, healthy, and stimulating work environment where everyone feels comfortable and is respected.<\/li>
          • Bullying, harassment, and any undesirable behavior will not be tolerated and will be dealt with firmly.<\/li>
          • We encourage open dialogue and listen to suggestions and feedback from staff and volunteers.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>

          • Development and Training:<\/strong><\/p>

            • Staff and volunteers shall be provided with opportunities for professional development and training where feasible and when such development adds value to their work and the festival.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>

            • Communication:<\/strong><\/p>

              • Clear and open communication is the foundation of successful collaboration. We promote honest and constructive communication at all levels of the festival.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>

                Confidentiality:<\/strong><\/p>

                • Everyone is obliged to respect confidentiality regarding the personal matters of colleagues and the trade secrets of the festival.<\/li><\/ul>

                  Response to Violations and Complaints:<\/strong><\/p>

                  • The Stockfish Board receives notifications and handles the processing of cases concerning violations of this policy, including bullying, harassment, discrimination, or breaches of the equal pay policy.<\/li>
                  • All notifications shall be met with seriousness and investigated in a professional and confidential manner. No one shall suffer negative consequences for reporting violations in good faith.<\/li><\/ul>

                    Responsibility and Implementation:<\/strong><\/p>

                    • The Board of the Stockfish Film Festival<\/strong>\u00a0is responsible for ensuring that this policy is adopted, implemented, and followed.<\/li>
                    • The Managing Director<\/strong>\u00a0is responsible for the daily implementation of the policy and for providing guidance and support to staff and volunteers.<\/li>
                    • All staff, contractors, and volunteers<\/strong>\u00a0are responsible for knowing the policy and acting in accordance with it.<\/li><\/ul>
