The Guest Services Coordinator will also manage and coach guest services liaisons during the festival to ensure and provide flawless, upscale, and professional guest service experiences to filmmakers, keynote speakers, industry guests, and sponsors.<\/p><p>This position is paid depending on expertise and reports to the managing director.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\ud83d\udd11 <b>Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p><p>First Point of Contact for Guests<\/p><p>Office Administration Support &#8211; Guest services.<\/p><p>Creating a Warm and Welcoming Environment<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\ud83d\udd0d <b>Desired Skills:<\/b><\/p><p>Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills<\/p><p>Organized and Detail-Oriented<\/p><p>Proficiency in Office Software<\/p><p>Proactive and Adaptable<\/p><p>\ud83d\ude80 Be the ambassador of our office &#8211; your opportunity to make an impact starts here!<\/p><p>\ud83c\udf1f <b>The Role:<\/b><\/p><p><b>TRAVEL:<\/b><\/p><p>-Book travel and hotel for festival guests including filmmakers, jury members, keynote speakers, and sponsor attendees.<\/p><p>-Oversee and coordinate all arrivals and departures of special guests, and create travel orders.<\/p><p>-Communicate with and track details for individuals and organizations who are arranging their travel\/hotel independently of the festival.<\/p><p>-Work with sales and marketing teams to manage relationships and arrangements with hotels and other travel and hospitality partners.<\/p><p>-Manage and maximize travel, hotel, and hospitality resources to stay within budget and service the greatest number of festival guests.<\/p><p>-Track travel and hotel information for all guests.<\/p><p>-Track filmmaker attendance at the festival, and collaborate with relevant departments on filmmaker participation in post-film Q&amp;A sessions, industry days and special events.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>COORDINATION:<\/b><\/p><p>-Coordinate with the program and production department to create personalized guest festival agendas for each visitor.<\/p><p>-Coordinate and communicate special events and programs for filmmakers and special guests.<\/p><p>-Coordinate with the artistic director, managing director festival board members, and appropriate staff to specifically identify qualified persons to serve as special liaisons with high-profile\/special guests.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>DATABASE MANAGEMENT:<\/b><\/p><p>-Regularly update the master database with festival guests, attendance dates, events guests will participate in, guests\u2019 titles\/roles, and level of festival participation.<\/p><p>-Share guest attendance documents with festival staff, public relations, board members, and identified festival partners.<\/p><p>-Work with programming and production to create, manage and track guest accreditation and credentials, and create a festival directory.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>ADDITIONAL SERVICES:<\/b><\/p><p>-Work with the Managing Director and festival team to arrange and coordinate possible institutional &amp; business partnerships.<\/p><p>-Work with appropriate staff to develop basic filmmaker and guest etiquette for all volunteers.<\/p><p>-Work with appropriate staff to assemble Guest gift bags.<\/p><p>-Oversee onsite guest services and guest check-in to ensure it\u2019s properly staffed, and has the required resources.<\/p><p>-Assist with proofing of festival communications featuring filmmaker and guest information and any additional materials created featuring filmmaker and guest info.<\/p><p>-Deliver and close all accounts and create a post-festival report.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Apply today by emailing your resume to stockfishfilmfestival@gmail.com<\/p><p>Applications are open til <b>November 30th.<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\ud83c\udf1f Step into the world of a Guest Office Specialist and let your personality shine! \ud83c\udf1f Are you the master of first impressions, a wizard of welcome, and an organizational pro?
