She has participated in international marketing and advertising campaigns and made a name for herself as an artistic director, costume designer, producer, and director.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">D\u00f3ra studied in Berlin, London, and New York as a set and costume designer and art history at Lund University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She was part of the Icelandic film spring and fought for the rights of filmmakers from the very beginning. The <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doris Day &amp; Night<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> clothing line emerged during the costume design process for the film <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Me\u00f0 allt \u00e1 hreinu<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, where she worked day and night designing the costumes. D\u00f3ra has collaborated with many well-known artists in Iceland and abroad, including Mezzoforte, Gr\u00fdlurnar, Stu\u00f0menn, Bubbi Morthens, Eg\u00f3, Jet Black Joe, Rickshaw, the Rolling Stones, Grace Jones, and Depeche Mode.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">D\u00f3ra also worked for MTV Europe for many years as a Creative Director and Producer. There she, among other things, created a television program about the Icelandic music scene\u2014something that had never been done before and undoubtedly contributed to its rise on the international stage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">D\u00f3ra has worked a wide range of jobs in the film industry and has fought for the advancement of the field from the beginning.
