As part of the Stockfish Film Festival, Iceland Music invites you to a panel discussion under the title “Music in Film – Purpose & Process.”
Leading voices from Iceland’s music and film industries come together to explore the role and impact of music in film – from creative collaboration between composers, directors, and music supervisors to the selection, scoring, and integration of music in film productions. The conversation will also touch on rights management and contract processes.
The event is open to all with a focus on composers, directors, producers, and others working – or looking to work – at the intersection of music and film.
Following the discussion, Record in Iceland will host a reception with light refreshments, offering guests a chance to connect and chat with professionals from both industries.
The event will be held in English.
