107 MOTHERS

In a prison in Odessa, Ukraine, women are allowed to serve their sentence with their children until their third birthday. The film follows the cruelty of these women’s lives, their children and prison guards.

The Producer Katarina Tomkova and editor Martin Piga, will attend Q/A’s at the Stockfish Film Festival Open Talks.

“An unusual and rewarding docufiction feature woven from the firsthand stories of multiple Odessa prisoners, executed with a blend of close-to-the-bone realism and heightened formal refinement.”
